- सम्मान फाउंडेशन के संस्थापक इरफान आज बिहार के मजदूरों को श्रम और आधुनिक तकनीक के संगम के साथ ऐसे मौके मुहैया करा रहे हैं जिससे लोगों के लिए उनकी लगातार आय सुनिश्चित हो पा रही है।
- साल 2007 में इरफान ने 300 रिक्शा चलवाने के साथ इसकी शुरुआत की थी। गौरतलब है कि इन रिक्शों में स्नैक्स, न्यूज़पेपर, फ़र्स्ट एड संगीत और मैगजीन जैसी सुविधाएं भी उपलब्ध हैं लोग उन्हें ‘रिक्शामैन फ्रॉम बिहार’ कहकर भी संबोधित करते। इरफान की इस पहल के तहत अब देशभर के तमाम हिस्सों से 5 लाख से अधिक रिक्शे रजिस्टर किए जा चुके हैं।
- इरफान के इन प्रयासों को लेकर अमेरिका के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति बराक ओबामा भी उनकी सराहना कर चुके हैं। साल 2010 में यंग आंत्रप्रेन्योर समिट के दौरान इरफान बराक ओबामा से व्हाइट हाउस जाकर मिलने वाले कुछ चुनिन्दा लोगों में शामिल थे।

- Founded in March 2018 by Smrity Gupta and Arijit Mazumdar, the Bengaluru-based startup manufactures eco-friendly, sustainable, and ethical menswear made from pesticide-free organic cotton.
- Bengaluru-based sustainable clothing startup NorthMist launched khadi and organic cotton facemasks this March, recording MRR of Rs 1 crore in July.
- In July 2019, NorthMist had a client base of 1,000 customers. At present, the founder says the startup has 10,000 direct clients and up to 500 institutional clients.

- दूसरी लहर के दौरान गंगा नदी में तैरती लाशों की तस्वीरों से संजय राय शेरपुरिया को गहरा आघात लगा। उन्होंने उन परिवारों की मदद करने के लिए कुछ करने का फैसला किया जो अपने प्रियजनों के अंतिम संस्कार के लिए भुगतान करने में असमर्थ थे।
- उन्होंने लकड़ी बैंक नामक एक जलाऊ लकड़ी संग्रह शुरू करने का फैसला किया। लकड़ी की सोर्सिंग के अलावा, वह और उनकी 45 सदस्यों की टीम और 5000 से अधिक स्वयंसेवकों ने उन लोगों को भी वित्तीय सहायता की पेशकश की जो अपने प्रियजनों के अंतिम संस्कार के लिए भुगतान करने में असमर्थ थे।
- 10 घाटों की पहचान की जहां यह हो रहा था और इन स्थानों के आसपास लकड़ी बैंक की स्थापना की। संगठन ने 200 से अधिक ऑक्सीजन कॉन्सेंट्रेटर प्रदान किए हैं और लगभग 53,000 फ्रंटलाइन योद्धाओं को दवाओं, मास्क और फेस शील्ड से लैस किया है।

- Founded in 2019 by Prajwal Ajay, the startup is aimed at securing deliveries using its IoT enabled devices.

- डॉ. शशिकांत पुदुचेरी के टैगोर सरकारी कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल हैं। पिछले 20 वर्षों से भी ज्यादा समय से शिक्षा क्षेत्र में अपनी सेवाएं दे रहे शशिकांत की एक और पहचान है और वह है ‘ग्रीन मैन’ के रूप में। साल 2017 तक 15 एकड़ जमीन पर फैला यह टैगोर कॉलेज कैंपस एकदम वीरान लगता था। लेकिन आज यह किसी जंगल से कम नहीं है।
- आज कॉलेज के लगभग आठ एकड़ जमीन पर 3000 पेड़-पौधे लगे हुए हैं। कचरे का भी अच्छा प्रबंधन हो रहा है।” खाद के साथ-साथ उन्होंने बारिश के पानी को इकट्ठा करने के लिए भी कैंपस में एक छोटा सा तालाब खुदवाया है। हर साल बारिश के मौसम में लगभग 12 लाख लीटर पानी इस तालाब में इकट्ठा होता है।
- पुदुचेरी की पूर्व गवर्नर किरण बेदी जी भी हमारे कैंपस में आईं थी और उन्होंने काम की तारीफ करते हुए काफी हौसला बढ़ाया।
